![]() ![]() Seems like the issue is the daz importer. I would like to know - can they be imported into Unity and exported in any format (Dae, fbx) to be usable in DAZ Studio as rigged figures? DAZ itself has the working Unity Collada exporter - how about vice versa? So I wonder - is it true? Can Unity 5 with its Collada Exporter make custom rigged models to be imported into DAZ with all their rigging intact? If you have time, please test these models -ġ) The rigged avatar from MD in Open Collada (dae) -Ģ) The same avatar in FBX, exported via Autodesk FBX Converterģ) The custom hybrid avatar with Genesis mesh and the same rig, exported from Maya2013. Also I found this thread - and tested the way with Blender, but no luck. But it was unclear if they kept full rigging and skinning or just mesh and textures. While looking a possible workaround, I stumbled upon a thread which says that rigged models can be exported fron Unity 5 via COLLADA Exporter for Unity 5and they will work in DAZ Studio. ![]() Last time it was a rigged model from Marvelous Designer. Long time ago I attempted to use some Unity rigged fbx models in DAZ Studio and they failed to import, the same happened with any custom rigged human models, FBX or DAE, which cannot be used in Daz Studio because of their buggy import. But I would be very grateful to all Unity users for some help. Hello! I am a newbie on this forum and honestly speaking, know almost nothing about Unity. ![]()
